Captain Lee Cattermole returns to the starting line-up as Sunderland face Arsenal.

The skipper makes his first appearance in almost a month, replacing Seb Larsson as one of two changes.

Meanwhile Danny Rose also returns, with David Vaughan dropping to the bench.
