David Meyler has completed a move to Npower Championship club Hull City AFC for an undisclosed fee.

The Republic of Ireland midfielder has spent the past month on loan with the Tigers and has now put pen to paper on a three and a half year deal at the KC Stadium.

The 23-year old joined Sunderland in 2008 from Cork City and made 25 appearances for the Black Cats during his four years on Wearside.
