Sunderland striker Ji Dong-Won has completed a loan move to FC Augsburg.

The South Korean international, who joined the Black Cats in the summer of 2011 from K-League side Chunnam Dragons, will remain with the German Bundesliga side until the end of the season.

The 6ft 1½" striker began his career with Gwangyang Jecheol High School and had a trial spell with Reading during the 2007-08 season before returning to Asia and sealing a move to the Dragons in 2010.

Dong-won made 21 appearances for Sunderland last season, scoring two goals.
