Adam Johnson has been called up to the England squad.

The Sunderland winger will link up with the Three Lions ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland.

San Marino visit Wembley next Friday before England travel to Warsaw to face the Poles the following Tuesday.

Johnson, who joined Sunderland in August, has been capped 12 times by his country, scoring two goals.
